DAY CAMP FOR 7-12 Year Olds

Children ages 7-12 explore the ecosystem around the Lemoine Point Conservation Area by land and sea!
Wild About Sport from the CWF brings elements of our ecosystems, environment and stewardship and is also combined with AdventureSmart "Hug-A-Tree" programming and PaddleSmart to build confidence, knowledge and skills to participate in activities in the nature areas around us.

Learn about various habitats, ecosystems, paddling skills and safety in a fun, supervised setting while using size-appropriate kayaks and paddles.
(Maximum Instructor to child ratio 1:5, 10 kids per week...so SPACE IS LIMITED)


8:00-4:00 Monday to Friday (early drop off and late pickup can be arranged for an additional fee)

Campers need:
-properly fitted PFD (We have some if you don't. But, we want your child to wear what they are used to wearing)
-dry land shoes (runners mandatory/sandles)
-water shoes (optional)
-Bathing suit (wear it to camp)
-Water bottle
-Sunscreen!!
-Towel
-Change of Clothes
-Warm Clothes and rain Jacket (weather dependent)
-Snacks (we will not provide these)
-Lunch (only if you opt out of lunch)




Cost - $275. (Lunch included every day)
*if you choose to opt out of lunch the price is 225$

Free Community Safety Clinics

The Paddle Safe Kingston initiative has been designed to offer Kingston & Area residents, 2-hour paddleboarding clinics for adults and children, 6 years of age and older. The clinics offer an on-water practical component and a classroom-based theory component. The education and on-water skills acquired from these clinics will give participants the skills needed to stay safe while on and near the water.

The clinics will be taking place throughout the week of August 6th - 10th our location behind the Matthew J. Dawe Memorial Royal Canadian Legion # 631, 4040 Bath Road, Kingston, Ontario.

Fitness kayak training in Surf Skis. Kayak training for the whole body. Club currently has Epic V5 introductory skis up to V10Sport competitive race skis for the race team.

More skis will be added to the fleet as membership and storage allows.
